Susan and Bridget started reviewing books they’d read in 2006 on a blog called Xingu, that was hosted on Google’s blogger. In February the account was infiltrated and Google removed it. After several attempts, Google continued to refuse to restore the blog and others that were lost.

Susan decided that Google was too much of a hassle to work with and has begun to use WordPress.

This Xingu is the next volume of the original and contains a few of the old posts that were salvaged and will feature new book reviews and thoughts on reading.

The title Xingu comes a Eudora Welty story that Susan read for a book club years ago.
